Popular Quiz Night will aid church conservation

Alison Hodgson Quizmasters Judy and Peter Evans are busy sharpening their pencils and planning another social evening brain-teaser at Sedgefield’s Ceddesfield Hall on Saturday, March 16.
Always a popular event in the town’s calendar, the Friends of St Edmund’s quiz is part of a pie and peas evening (with free first drink) for which tickets are allocated on a ‘first-come-first-served’ basis.

From 7.30pm, teams will battle it out to solve questions on a wide range of subjects which include local knowledge, current events and picture posers.
“The evening is always extremely popular with people of all ages. It’s a really fun night out”, said Alison Hodgson (pictured), who heads the organising team, this week.

Tickets cost £9 and are available from Alison on 620912, Brian Mutch (622302) and Anne Eyley (645854) – or any member of the Friends. Profits from the event will be used to help maintain the fabric of the church.

Further information is available from Alison at the number above.
