Friends of St Edmund’s Church will launch their ever - popular, slimline, full-colour, hang-anywhere Sedgefield calendar for 2021 within the next two weeks.
Images by several local photographers have been described by selection panel judges as ‘well up to the high standard set in previous years’.
This year’s calendar comes in a plastic wallet and costs just £7 plus 50p for a robust cardboard envelope for posting.
“Coronavirus constraints are obviously preventing people in the community from getting out and about, so we have decided to provide a free, socially-distanced delivery to people in and around the town,” said Friends’ membership secretary Brian Mutch this week.
Orders can be placed from the comfort of home by contacting Brian on 01740 622302, via e-mail (b.mutch@btconnect.com) or at 6 Hasledon Grove, Sedgefield, TS21 2JW.
Brian said this week: “For the first time, we also have the facility for people to pay by credit or debit card”.
Since it was launched three years ago, the Calendar has proved increasingly popular with people over a wide area as well as church supporters overseas. Many now use the calendar as a much-appreciated Christmas gift.
