Music from the Northumbrian Pipers, Sedgefield’s popular Lyrics, pianist Kristen Peacock and Sedgefield’s Ukulele players helped raise over £560 at the Mediaeval Fayre for the funds of St Edmund’s Church and other deserving charities.

The musicians complemented stallholders selling a wide variety of products. At Sunday morning’s service, the Revd. Geoff Short, Team Rector in the parish of the Upper Skerne, thanked all the volunteers for their hard work as well as visitors who supported the event. He described the church-based event as “a wonderful success”.
