Employability Pit Stop
Click to view full posterPioneering Care Partnership (PCP) is offering a free service for people living in
Bowburn, Coxhoe, Trimdon, Fishburn, Kelloe and Sedgefield who are out of work or at risk of redundancy.

‘Employability Pit Stops’ are drop-in sessions held in community venues to help people overcome barriers to employment. Attendees will develop skills to produce a targeted CV, how to job search successfully and develop interview techniques.
The project will also offer support to access universal job match, writing job applications and provide information on universal credit.
Trained advisors will be available at the following community venues to offer advice and support to anyone wishing to find employment.

  • Tuesdays 1 – 3pm
    at Trimdon Station Residents Association
  • Wednesdays 10.00am – 12:00pm
    at Trimdon Grange Community Centre
  • Thursdays 9:30am – 12:30pm
    at Trimdon Village Hall
  • Fridays 1 – 3pm
    at Sedgefield Library

Further Pit Stops will be popping up soon in Bowburn, Coxhoe or Kelloe.

This service is funded by the East Durham Rural Corridor Area Action Partnership and Durham Dales, Easington and Sedgefield Clinical Commissioning Group. Leigh Ann Ramsay is PCP’s Employability Development Officer who is leading on the project.
