Information Update – 21st January 2010

School Parking Complaints.
Recently we have had complaints from local schools with regards to vehicles parking in dangerous positions at school drop off and pick up times. We have had letters sent home via the schools with advice and information regarding how to park. Please adhere to all markings and signs in and around the schools to assist us and the schools in improving the road safety at schools and surrounding streets.

Anti Social Behaviour – Church Road Trimdon Village .
Over the Christmas period we have had an increase in calls in relation to anti social behaviour and street drinking in Church Road . Over recent weeks we have increased patrols in the area to improve visibility and offer reassurance. Should the frequency of calls continue then we will review our tactics and other options such as dispersal orders amongst other things may be considered. This is currently a PACT priority for Trimdon Village – anyone with any information in relation to persons being the cause for these complaints please contact me.

Trimdon Village PACT.
The current PACT priorities are below the next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday the 3rd of February 2010 at 6pm, the meeting will be held at Trimdon Village Community College Elwick View. Meetings are open to all members of the public.

2. Rowdy Nuisance Behaviour – Hallgarth Road and Windsor Square .
