Information Update – 17th September 2010
Not In My Neighbourhood Week
This operation took place in Trimdon Village last month the majority of the feedback we have received has been very positive. The activities and actions we carried out were only possible as a result of members of the community providing us with information and concerns. A full evaluation is being planed which will involve direct feedback be obtained from members of the community and questionnaires being completed. Full results of this evaluation will be published soon.
Bike Thefts
As previously reported in the last few weeks we have had a small amount of pedal cycles stolen from the Trimdon Grange area. I am glad to say that this has now stopped and we have managed to return some of the stolen bikes. Any one who has information in relation to who may be responsible for these incidents please contact me or provide crime stoppers with the information.
School Parking
A reminder to those parents who do the “school run” in their vehicle to be mindful of where you park your vehicle outside schools in the Trimdon area. Complaints are drive ways blocked, causing obstructions to footpaths and parking on the yellow hazard markings directly outside schools. We will try to resolve these type of complaints amicably by way of advice or warning notices if this does not work we have little option but to issue fixed penalty notices which incur £330 fines.
For operational reasons there will be no October update.
