Minutes of the Annual Meeting of Electors of Trimdon Parish Council held in Trimdon Grange Community Centre on Tuesday 13 May 2014 at 6:45pm.

Present: Councillor George Elliott Snr. (in the Chair) and Councillors Margaret Hughes, Eileen Dickinson, Bernadette Oliver, George Elliott, Paul Trippett, Sheila Appleton and John Burton

Electors Present:

Margaret Eadsforth

Anne Delandre, Clerk to the Council, was also in attendance.

1. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

Apologies for absence were received from Julie Thompson, Peter Brookes and Margaret
Elliott.

Resolved that the above apologies be accepted.

2. REPORT OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PARISH COUNCIL

The Chairman presented a report detailing the Parish Council’s activities throughout the year.

Resolved that the report be received.

3. RESOLUTIONS OF WHICH WRITTEN NOTICE HAS BEEN GIVEN TO THE CHAIRMAN OR THE CLERK

There were no resolutions submitted to the Chairman or the Clerk.

Resolved that the above be noted.

4. CONSIDERATION OF ANY OTHER URGENT BUSINESS OR MATTER RAISED BY THE ELECTORATE

John Burton raised the issue of the name of Trimdon Village not being accepted as a valid postal address. It was suggested that steps should be taken to revert back to the old name of Old Trimdon.

Resolved that Paul Trippett would look into this matter.
