Information Update – 3rd December 2009

Off road motorcycles/Mini Motos.
As Christmas approaches some people may purchase a mini moto or off road motor cycle. Can I ask anyone who does to be aware of the legislation regarding the use of them. Anyone who use one these on the public road will require insurance and licence (full or provisional) appropriate safety equipment is also required. If you purchase one for use off road you must obtain full permission off the land owner to ride/use the land.

Operation Winter Nights.
This operation will continue throughout the winter period the main objective being to raise people’s awareness in relation the security of their own homes during the dark winter nights. With help from our local schools some home security packs have been sent out to local residents.

Skerne Avenue.
Skerne Avenue Play Park Trimdon Village will be locked daily from dusk till dawn over the winter months. Can I ask that no one attempts to enter the park when it has been locked.

PACT.

Trimdon Grange.
