Information Update – 9th December 2011

On the afternoon of Thursday the 9th of December 2011 the Sedgefield Neighbourhood Police Team executed three Magistrates Drugs warrants at three addresses in the Fishburn area. All three addresses were searched, no drugs were found however there were indications that drugs had been at the addresses. Other intelligence has been obtained from the searches and further action will be taken as a result of this. This action was only possible as a result of intelligence being provided by the local community. Information Update – 4th November 2011

Shop Lifting – Trimdon Village CO-OP.
In recent weeks there has been an increase in shop lifting offences at the CO-OP. All offences have been reported to Police and ALL suspects for these offences have been arrested and dealt with accordingly. Some of the offenders have been school children/students who either before or after school have taken the opportunity to take items from the store.

The store will ALWAYS report incidents to Police and will seek a prosecution, they will also seek to ban the offender from the store.
All local CO-OP stores have extensive CCTV systems which are monitored and Police will use the CCTV in all cases.
