Information Update – 12th May 2011
Community Intelligence.
In recent weeks we have had some successes as a result of information we have been passed via members of the public. This information in some cases has been anonymous via crime stoppers, anonymous to the Neighbourhood Police Team or in person. On every occasion the source of information is never disclosed or put in a vulnerable position. Anyone who has information regarding any criminal activity please contact me or use crime stoppers.
Neighbourhood Watch Schemes.
In recent months our neighbourhood watch schemes have expanded across all the Trimdons. This is a voluntary neighbourhood scheme which assists police and other partner agencies in dealing with crime and anti social behaviour more importantly it offers reassurance to your communities. Police and Communities Together – PACT.
The next PACT meeting for Trimdon Village is on the 8th of June 2011 6pm at Trimdon Village Community College Elwick View.
The next PACT meeting for Trimdon Grange and Colliery will be on Monday the 16th of June 2011 6pm at Trimdon Grange Community.
The current PACT Priorities for all the Trimdons is complaints of Anti Social Use of off road motorcycles.
