Information Update – 14th December 2011
Off Road Motorcycle Complaints
In recent weeks through patrols and complaints from the community we have had an increase in the use of off road motorcycles.
To date we have issued 3 anti social use warning notices and seized two off road bikes. Anyone found using an off road bike or quad without the relevant driving documentation will face positive Police action.
Neighbourhood Watch and Farm Watch.
The above schemes are valuable to both the local community and Police; we have recently increased the amount of members to the farm watch scheme and would encourage anyone who wishes to volunteer for either scheme to contact us.
Operation Winternights
This operation will continue into the New Year the main message we wish to get across is in relation to the security of your home during the dark nights. Please lock your doors both when you leave and come back home to your property. Simple steps like this will help reduce and prevent crimes.
