Information Update – 29th May 2012   (June Update)

Damage to Trimdon Village Community College .
With the school summer holidays approaching can we ask that during the holiday period children stay off all school premises unless there is a pre arranged activity taking place. This week we have had a report of damage to the school and also incidents of anti social behaviour on school premises. It is clear from the weekend’s incidents that people are getting access to the school roof which raises obvious safety concerns for those involved. Anyone who is found to be on school premises without permission or good reason will face positive action.

Today (29th May 2012) we have provided the school with a quantity of anti vandal paint, this will be put in place ASAP and will prevent access to the roof. Anyone with any information in relation to the latest incident please contact us.

Vehicle Crimes
Last month we had a rise in fuel thefts from vehicles which were occurring overnight. 3 males from the Fishburn area have been arrested in relation to these offences and the crimes in Trimdon Grange have stopped. Unfortunately similar offences are still being reported in Trimdon Village in and around the Front Street in particular.

Anyone who has any information in relation to these crimes please contact us, you do not have to give your name and all information will be dealt confidentially.

Neighbourhood Watch
Thanks to all the latest volunteers who have subscribed to the NHW scheme in the Trimdon Village area. NHW is a valuable scheme that assists with both deterring and detecting crime in the Trimdons. If you wish to be part of the scheme please contact us, it’s a free and easy scheme to use that only requires a contact phone number or e mail address.
