Rural Crime – Arrests
In recent weeks we have seen a slight increase in rural related crime in Trimdon and the surround Villages.
A local male has been recently arrested and charged with two offences of handling stolen goods and is currently on curfew awaiting a court appearence. Numerous other enquiries are continuing into the other related offences, anyone with any information in relation to this please contact us.
Anti-Social Behaviour
Calls in relation to ASB have continued to reduce please help continue with this and let us know if you are affected by ASB or you know who is responsible for ASB in your community.
PACT
Some of you will be aware of us promoting PACT meetings more in your area. Meetings are held every month and are open to all residents who wish to discuss anything that is affecting them in the community. Below are details of when next month’s meetings and we will publish dates for next year’s meetings shortly.
Trimdon Village PACT meeting
Wednesday the 21st of November 2012 6pm at the Community College.
Current Pact Priority – Speeding on Front Street/Hurworth Burn Road.
Trimdon Grange and Colliery
Monday the 10th of December 2012 6pm at The Grange Community Centre.
Current PACT Priority – Speeding on Galbraith Terrace Trim don Grange
PACT Priorities – Speeding Complaints.
In relation to our current PACT Priorities in Trimdon Grange – Galbraith Terrace and Trimdon Village – Front Street the following action has been taken in relation to vehicles exceeding speed limits
5 – Endorsable Fixed Penalty notices issued (fines).
4 – Verbal warnings issued.
13 – Warning letters sent to vehicle owners.
The Neighbourhood Team assisted by the Road Policing Team will continue to patrol these locations and take appropriate action against those who exceed the speed limits.
