Deaf Hill Miners Banner Group are holding a mining heritage remembrance day in Trimdon Colliery & Deaf Hill WMC on Whit Monday afternoon, 29th May 2017.

It’s 50 years since the closure of Deaf Hill colliery, so to remember the heritage of mining & miners in Deaf Hill and surrounding mining villages, the Banner Group are having a display of local miners lodge banners & mining memorabilia plus a raffle.
There will also be a brass band concert by Knottingley Silver Band from West Yorkshire

Admission is free, doors open 12noon, Concert starts 1:30pm.
Everyone welcome including children.
