Trimdon Parish Council is delighted to announce it is holding a Scarecrow Competition again this year, following the overwhelming success of last year’s competition.

Trimdon Scarecrow competion 2017The Competition will run from 1st – 18th June with judging taking place on Monday 19th June.

There will be the following prizes:

  • Best Resident Award £50
  • Highly Commended Resident Award £20 x 5
  • Best Business/School/Community Group Award £50
  • Highly Commended Business/School/Community Award £20 x 5

 

Anyone within the Parish is welcome to enter the Scarecrow Competition!
To participate, entrants must submit completed registration forms and have their scarecrows on display by the required time. All scarecrows must be on display in the Parish by 12 noon on Monday 19 June 2017

Completed forms should be returned to Trimdon Parish Council, c/o Bluebell Meadow Primary School, Elwick View, Trimdon Village TS29 6JU or scanned and emailed to trimdonpc@tiscali.co.uk

SCARECROW
There aren’t really any rules as to how you have to build your scarecrow. All we ask is that you include some straw – or it wouldn’t be a scarecrow otherwise!
Your scarecrow must be named, with that name being clearly displayed for identification purposes

JUDGING
Only scarecrows registered in time will be considered by the judge.
Judging will take place on the afternoon of Monday 19 June 2017.
