Information Update – 11th May 2012

Vehicle Fuel Thefts.
In recent weeks we have an increase in this type of crime, fuel lines are being cut on parked vehicles and the fuel siphoned off. This crime is difficult to prevent and the offender takes obvious risks when committing this type of crime. Within the last weeks two local males have been arrested and are currently on Police bail pending the arrest of a third person. Anyone with any information in relation to these crimes please contact us.

Garage Burglaries Trimdon Village
Overnight on Wednesday 2nd May 2012 a garage block at the rear of Lillie Terrace/St Albans Terrace Trimdon Grange has been targeted. A total of 6 garages have had padlocks cut with bolt croppers or similar implement.
Can all  garage owners  check the security of their garages .If they require any crime prevention advice to contact Police

Anyone who saw any suspicious activity overnight on 2nd May 2012 in the area or have any information in relation to these or any other crime please contact us.

PACT Meetings and Priorities.
Trimdon Village – PACT Priority is off road motorcycle complaints in the area of Elwick View and the Community College
Next meeting – Wednesday the 6th of June 2012 6pm

Trimdon Grange – PACT Priority is reassurance patrols in recent location of fuel thefts and garage burglaries.
Next meeting – Monday the 28th of May 2012 6pm.
