Off Road Motorcycle Complaints.
This pit bike was sighted by officers being ridden in an anti-social manner in Trimdon Village, it was seized and recovered. Anyone found riding in a anti-social manner will face the prospect of this happening!!

In relation to a recent increase in calls in relation to anti-social use of off road motorcycles the following action has been taken by the Neighbourhood Team.

3 x traffic warning notices have been issued, should the 3 individuals that have been issued with these notices come to our attention again the bikes will be seized and potential destroyed.

1 x local male to reported for driving document offences and will be summonsed.

2 x local youths have received verbal warnings.

Please continue to contact us with any further information in relation to off road bikes being used in an anti-social manner.

Operation Spoke.
The next free bike marking event will be at Trimdon Village Hall , Saturday the 24th of May 2014 – 10am to 1pm. Please have details of your current address, contact number and an email address.

Shop Lifting Offences.
Over the last 6 months we have had a gradual increase in relation to shop lifting offences. Regular users of our Facebook page will have noticed this as we publish footage of those we want to trace in relation to these type offences. We also have our Durham Constabulary Internet site on which we use Caught on Camera to circulate images of wanted persons.

With the assistance of Caught on Camera, Facebook and Twitter we are still managing to trace over 80% of the offenders and solving these crimes. There is a simple message for those wanting to take a chance and shop lift there is a very strong possibility of you being caught!
