Anti-Social Behaviour Incidents.

Anti-Social Behavior Trimdon Community College Elwick View Trimdon Village:
In recent weeks we have had complaints regarding large groups of youths gathering on the fields surrounding Trimdon Village Community College on Elwick View. The complaints have escalated in recent weeks resulting in two vehicles being damaged in the joining street and a male youth being assaulted.

The school grounds have also been left with litter including evidence of alcohol being consumed. Extra patrols will carried out in this location this weekend and positive action will be taken against anyone who engages in any form of anti-social or disorderly behaviour.

Allotment Watch Scheme.
Trimdon Grange is now part of the Smart Allotment Scheme local NPT officers have issued new signs and property marking paint and equipment.

Incident Update.
A local male has been identified and will have his day in court to explain why his dogs were allowed to kill a family cat in Trimdon Grange. The incident which occurred in May and was reported to police in June has seen investigations ongoing to locate the person responsible. We would like to thank those members of the community who have passed on any information

Court Result.
SHAUN BIRCH 28/01/1978 from Stockton appeared at Durham Crown Court in relation to a burglary in Trimdon Village on the 15th of May 2014.
Birch has pleaded guilty to the offence and has been sentenced to 18 months in prison. Many thanks to all the members of the community who came forward as witnesses in relation to this incident.

Information Appeals.
Between 20:00 08/10/2014 and 18:00 09/10/2014 a burglary has occurred at Hillbeck Stables near Salters Lane Trimdon Grange. A large amount of horse equipment has been taken and two jack Russell terriers. Anyone with any information in relation to this incident please contact us DHM-09102014-0365.

Between 18:45 09/10/2014 and 20:30 09/10/2014 a property has been broken into in Hopper Terrace Trimdon Grange. A – Blue Subaru Imprezza was been stolen during this incident and has since been found abandoned on a footpath near to Horse Close Lane Trimdon Colliery. Information Appeal
1:/ Between 17:00 15/10/2014 and 06:30 16/10/2014 two properties have been broken into in Trimdon Village, one house situated on West Lane, the other Front Street South. Both houses have had an untidy search made within and property taken. Anyone who has any information in relation to both of these incidents please contact Police and quote DHM-16102014-0038 and DHM-15102014-0488.
2:/ Between 13:00 15/10/2014 and 17:24 16/10/2014 a property on Dunelm Road, Trimdon Village was broken into, an untidy search has been made within. Anyone who has any information in relation to this incident please contact us on 101 and quote DHM-16102014-0303.
A male from Shotton Colliery was arrested yesterday, 16th October in relation to the recent burglaries in Trimdon Village. The male has been bailed pending further enquires in relation to the incidents. Anyone one with any further information please contact us.
