Information Appeal:
Between 30/01/2015 and 02/02/2015 a storage container at the rear of Trimdon Grange Infants School has been broken into and power tools have been stolen. The containers at the school are being used by contractors who are carrying repairs out to the school roof. Anyone that saw anything suspicious in and around the school grounds over the weekend please contact us.

Please be aware we have had information of a male(s) going around Trimdon Grange offering roof repairs. Please do not accept any such offer or pay in advance for any work, the males concerned have targeted elderly residents so please keep an eye on any neighbours who you feel may be targeted. A male was arrested for Fraud by false representation in relation to the incidents regarding roof repairs in Trimdon Grange.
The male has been bailed pending further enquires, thanks to the local community who have come forward and provided valuable information.

Police arrested two males aged 24yrs and 23yrs from the Trimdon Village area regarding a burglary at the Fox & Hounds public house in the village on 12/01/15. Both admitted to the burglary and were charged with the offence. They will appear before Newton Magistrates Court at 09:30hrs on 11/02/15.
