Joint Trimdon Regeneration Partnership – Notes of Meeting held July 2008.
1. Welcome and Introductions Peter Brookes, Lucy Hovvels, Pat Hancock, Alan Hancock, Su Jordan, May Robinson, Sheila Appleton, Dave Smith, Christine Carter, Ginny Kemp, Tony Jackson.
3. Minutes Minutes were received and accepted as a true record
4. Matters Arising •EDF (Wind farm) – Les to action. C/F action •Fete on the Green - Peter spoke to Chairman of Fire Station – fire engine to come again, public liability insurance sorted, Keith Thompson has obtained a group for the Saturday night. Leslie Tate held meeting in Church – Sheila and Peter attended. Donation from the Member Initiative Fund. •National Play Day (06/08/08)– £500 donation from the Member Initiative Fund. Stewards required – contact to be made to Margaret. •Accounts – update from Ginny given – accounts now ready to be issued. •Dave spoke to campaign on Champion rights for warmth – 1 hours talk venue required in each village. Possibly outside Church 19th July – ‘Fete on the Green’ or Craft and Chat in the Village Hall. Other venues to be suggested to Dave. Advertise in the messenger. •DTA – cheque issued. •Sedgefield LSP – Su attended the meeting and fed back on issues. •Community Cohesion – Borough Council going, issues will be at a local level. Trimdons will need to work together to get the most. Leadership of the JTP to come from the Community, supported by the Councillors.
5. Forward Planning Packs to be put together and target people who are most likely to take things forward. Leaflet put in the themes. Normal business meeting and then a special meeting on taking the action plan forward. Agreed that cost will be met from the Joint Trimdon Partnership. Normal meeting 2nd September, Next special meeting Wednesday 24th September at 6.30 – 8.0pm.
6. Victoria Tiffin – JTP will happily endorse what you are trying to do and help signpost you as to where to seek funding i.e. Emily at Trimdon House, BE Enterprise Initiative. Also it may be worth you speaking to Gillian at Cavos. Su to respond.

8 .Issues: Crime and disorder, drugs, alcohol, anti-social behaviour. Action: to be considered as part of special planning evening. Invite police Alan Blakemore, Lucy to invite local resident. Sheila to speak to Dawn to see if there is anyone from the Health Service.
9. Events: 29th August snail race (see email from Ginny). Football 4,5,6 August for 8 to 10 year olds and 18th, 19th 20th August for 11 to 13 year olds. Fayre 22nd August at Trimdon Station Community House commencing 1pm. Fete on the Green 19th July, plus Skerne, plus signer in the club. Trimdon Village Community Flower Show 6th September 9am – 12am.
