David Gallagher has been contacted by Peter but still awaiting a response.
Margaret made contact re: EDF funding and was given conflicting information to that previously advised by the JTP. Les to seek confirmation in writing from EDF as to the value of money available; the selection criteria, simple rules of engagement.

TrimdonGrangePlayPark – Letter of support written from JTP and given to Pamela.
DTA – Dawn couldn’t attend due to other commitments. Can someone from DTA or CAVOS come and do some work on funding bids.

St. Mary Magdalene/Fete on the Green – Dawn to represent Trimdon House, Su/Sheila to represent Joint Trimdons’.
Ginny to provide Su with a copy of letter-head paper.

Margaret/Su to prepare leaflet for handing out at St. Mary Magdalene’s day stating priorities of the Joint Trimdons’ Partnership, where we meet etc.
Discussion took place on funding for the fete on the green – Lucy & Peter to discuss pledging some of their member allowance as well as some JTP funding. Sums to be confirmed.

Peter gave an overview of what was happening with the Unitary Council and how this affects the locality i.e. Council listening better/engaging with communities.

Village Events:
£2,000 runner up prize received from Sunderland Creating Chances for the Trimdon United Juniors – held on a Monday between 4pm – 5pm.
National Play Day – all free, can come with a display or hand out leaflets.
Trimdon Grange Community Centre – activities throughout the summer holidays.

Any Other Business
R.P.S. Manchester hired by Sedgefield Borough Council to carry out an appraisal around the four Trimdons (including The Station) on 14th May starting 9.30am leaving Trimdon Colliery Community Centre. Dave Smith and Lucy to represent The Grange, Chris and Margaret The Colliery, Su and Sheila The Village.
On 3rd April Les went to ‘The Leader Approach’ at Wheatley Hill. Durham Rural Community Council have set up an action group – Les nominated to represent The Joint Trimdons.
15/06 at midnight Christine to walk/run 10 laps around the race course (approximately 13 miles) in aid of Butterwick Hospice.
19/06 – Army Presentation – ticket available for anyone wanting to represent The Joint Trimdons’.
Trimdon Times – on the 24th January 2007 the minutes of the Joint Trimdons’ were put on the website. Concern has been expressed regarding data protection issues. Su to investigate and prepare a draft protocol. Explore possibility of advertising meeting dates as well as an invitation for people to attend the meetings.
