Comment: Even I am wondering who is the No.1 Bingo caller at the Colliery Club, so I asked our lass- she said Norman had a very commanding authoritive voice with an extensive
vocabulary, using such words as;- Federation, carbaretta, penacalty & snookerend. And could easily be snapped up as the next voice of documentary channel……..WOW! Whereas Gik was
reported to be more entertaining, at times quite excitable by his nature, with a raporre of one liners equalled by no one. mmmmm! Sounds like I will keep out of this one!
Quite a battle going on here I’m afraid, May the best man win. I’m sure Xmas & New Year will sort out who is the top Kitty Cat…………Here’s a cat among the pigeons…….Our Lass actually said that
John Cranson is the Rolls Royce of bingo callers, not sure how this will go down!!!!!
p.s. How’s Stevie B Keeping, I understand he is now a respected and valued member of the Commitee. Along with other giants of men of which are only spoke of in respected hushed tones within the corridors of power, The likes of -Sir Ken Parnaby & Barry Craggs MBE
(miserable by example) ha ha. Cheer up Baz man. Not forgetting the Winston Churchill of committee men the respected Frank Gell. ( Another laugh a minute!) Better shut up now before I
get myself into trouble. Merry Xmas to all at the club. Bill Ramage.

Comment: Hello everyone in Trimdon! What a great website! I am researching my family tree and would be interested to hear from anyone with information about Trimdon West Farm, where my great grandfather, John Davison, farmed unitl his death in 1922. Does the farm still exist? Do the present owners have the deeds and if so would they be willing to share any information they contain about my grandfather? Is there anyone living who remembers the family? Many thanks.

We as a village are being recognised again through the help of our volunteers and public support, lets keep it going. I wish to thank everyone involved.
