We have been working with NEFirst Credit Union to establish a community access point for people to come along and save and to find out about how they can avoid Loan Sharks, Unscrupulous Lenders and extortionate interest rates.

 

We have also been in discussions with the schools in the parish to set up school drop off points and encourage good saving habits amongst our children.  

 

There will be refreshments provided  and an opportunity for you to speak with partners working in the area to support those families most in need.  

 

If you have any families who you think would benefit from joining and saving even as little as £1 a week then please do encourage them to come along too.  Also do feel free to pass on this invite to anybody within your networks who you think might be interested 

 

There are incentives for Adult Savers joining on the day and the Junior Savers joining on the day.
