30th May 2013 The biggest Farm Watch operation to date – involving volunteers from across six police force areas – is being hailed a success. Durham Constabulary officers and police community support officers (PCSOs) and their colleagues from Northumbria, North Yorkshire, Cumbria, Cleveland and Lancashire joined in Tuesday night’s operation which covered a total of 4,000 square miles.
In total 225 volunteers took part, supported by 110 officers across the six force areas.

Farm Watch
Can all local farmers continue to contact us with information in relation to any suspicious vehicles or persons they see on their land. We have a successful Farm Watch Scheme which assists in reducing crime on Farm premises in the Sedgefield and Trimdon areas. We have some Farm Watch Operations coming soon to tackle these types of incidents.

PACT
Trimdon Grange and Colliery PACT meeting will be on Monday the 3rd of June 2013 6pm at Trim don Grange Community Centre Kielder Drive.
Trimdon Village PACT meeting will be on Wednesday the 12th of June 2013 6pm at Trimdon Village Community College Elwick View.

The PACT Priority of all of the villages is current – Complaints regarding use of off road motorcycles.
