Information Update – 10th February 2013

Anti-Social Behaviour and Crime Statistics
We have recently published stats regarding the decrease in Crime and Anti-Social in the Trimdon area, I am pleased to say that this has continued in recent weeks.

The slight crime increase in Trimdon Grange and Colliery appears to be under control and the introduction of Operation Nebraska (see next article) has been successful.

Operation Nebraska – Farm Watch/Rural Crime
Over the last 2 months the Sedgefield Neighbourhood Police Team have been carrying out overnight targeted patrols in the Trimdon area in relation to a recent increase in rural crime. So far no  crimes have been reported, some valuable intelligence has been obtained and the team thank members of Neighbourhood Watch and Farm Watch for providing some of this information.  As a result of intelligence received and further enquires conducted four local males have been arrested in relation to a stolen motor vehicle being found in nearby Hutton Henry. Three local  males have been charged with a number of offences, 1 remanded in custody and one remains currently on Police bail, this operation will continue to run and target a number of local males in the Trim don Colliery/Station area. Anyone who has any information regarding crimes in the Trim don area lease either contact us directly or via Crime Stoppers.

Neighbourhood Watch and  Farm Watch
In recent months we have had an increase in the membership of our Neighbourhood and Farm Watch Schemes in Trimdon Colliery area this scheme is free to join and is an excellent way of us sharing information with the community. Please contact us if you which to join it only requires a short form filling in.

Trimdon Grange and Colliery – Monday the 11th of February 2013 – 6pm at Trimdon Grange Community Centre. Current PACT Priority is Speeding Complaints on Galbraith Terrace Trimdon Grange.
Trimdon Village – Wednesday the 20th of February 2013 – 6pm at Trimdon Village Community College. Current PACT Priority is Speeding Complaints on Front Street.
