Information Update – 23rd June 2006
CRIME AGAIN REMAINS LOW.
HOWEVER THERE HAS BEEN A INCREASE IN CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO SCHOOL PREMISES. RECENTLY WINDOWS WERE BROKEN, AMONGST OTHER THINGS, AT TRIMDON GRANGE INFANTS SCHOOL. TWO YOUTHS WERE ARRESTED FOR THIS. ANY PERSONS FOUND COMMITTING OFFENCES ON ANY SCHOOL PREMISES WILL FACE POSITIVE ACTION.
FROM AUGUST 14TH – 27TH OPERATION KILO WILL BE RUNNING.
THIS IS A MULTI AGENCY OPERATION IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE SEDGEFIELD BOROUGH COUNCIL COMMUNITY SAFETY PARTNERSHIP. THE FOCUS OF THE OPERATION WILL BE ON TARGET AREAS IN TRIMDON VILLAGE. THE OPERATION WILL FOCUS ON THREE AREAS:
1. CRIMINALITY
2. ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR
3. ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES.
PRESS COVERAGE AND LEAFLETS WILL BE SENT OUT NEARER THE START OF THE OPERATION.
SO FAR SO GOOD ON THE VILLAGE LICENCED PREMISES.
NO INCIDENTS OF ANY NOTE HAVE BEEN REPORTED OVER THE WORLD CUP PERIOD. ANYONE WHO DOES COME TO POLICE ATTENTION WILL BE BANNED
