in the Trimdon Foundry Parish Council election on 8th May 2014
I am Derek Bradley; many of you may know me as Derek who works at the Welfare. I am also a Community Governor at Deaf Hill Primary School.
It has been my own choice to stand as an Independent Councillor, as I believe it will make a stronger Partnership which will benefit the Community. I decided to stand as an Independent Councillor as I believe that the Parish Council should be free from Politics and that it should be for the benefit of our community.
As an Independent Councillor I will be free to vote without being told how to vote. Members of Political Groups are told how to vote otherwise they risk being suspended or expelled from the Party.
I have been overwhelmed by the amount of support from the community since announcing my intention to stand.
I therefore would like you to support me in the Parish Election on the 8th May 2014.
