Trimdon Grange Banner Association are getting ready for Durham Miners Gala, Saturday 9h July 2011.
Are you thinking about going and having a family day out?
If you are why don’t you come along with TGCA and celebrate this special event, leave your cars at home and avoid the parking hassle.


Harrowgate Brass Band is booked and will lead the procession through Trimdon Grange, with Trimdon Grange Banner.

Starting at 7.20p.m. from Galbraith Terrace,
then Front Street,
turning in at St Albans church and along South View,
then  Beech Grove.

Return journey from Durham City,
turning in at St Albans Church, along South View,
Beech Grove, down to Alnwick Avenue,
Redesdale Court and  Trimdon Grange Community Centre..

We welcome everyone to support their community and come along and follow Trimdon Grange Banner into Durham,  “Keeping our Heritage Alive” – and enjoy the community spirit.

Coaches are booked leaving Trimdon Grange (Beech Grove) at 7.45a.m. and departing Durham at 5p.m., fare is £3.00 per person.  We welcome everyone to join in and experience the enjoyment of the event,
