From our new Trimdon Beat Officer

Trimdon School Watch has been launched and involves all school pupils in the Trimdons receiving a letter via the school from myself, which outlines the pupils and parents responsibility to know where they are and what they are doing out of school hours.

Posters have been distributed to the schools to advertise the school watch scheme informing that anyone found on school premises outside normal hours will face positive police action. A leaflet drop is also in progress to homes nearby to school premises asking them to contact police or myself should they see anyone in school grounds outside school hours.

Crime on a whole was very low last month; a recent pub watch meeting revealed that there were no incidents of any note at any of the licensed premises in the Trimdons. Please be aware anyone who comes to police attention for incidents on any licensed premises in the Trimdons may face a lengthy exclusion from all premises in the area.

On a slightly less positive note there appears to be an increase in anti social behaviour in the Reasdale Court area of Trimdon Grange. This is being looked at, with a view to increasing patrols in this area. Should any one know names of any persons responsible for any anti social behaviour in any area please contact me:

Parking in Church Road - can people using parking at Church Road shops, including the Co-Op, please do not double park or cause any obstructions; use the parking bays and Co-Op car park. Should any double parking or obstructions occur this may lead to a fixed penalty ticket being issued with a THIRTY pound fine incurred.
