JOINT VENTURE

Trimdon 2000 Ltd are donating 12 new Computers to be housed in Trimdon Village Junior School in a joint venture to raise awareness and to make computers accessible to all. The school children will have access during school hours but ideally we would like the community at large to use these computers.
In the new year we will be carrying out a survey to find out what sort of adult learning you would like to see provided such as Basic computer courses, Sage, how to use the Internet for example and also what times you would like to have access to these facilities. In the mean time if you have any suggestions please call me Dawn Kelly Centre Manager at Trimdon House Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm on 01429
883063 or email me at t2kmanager@btconnect.com  I look forward to hearing from you.

ENTERPRISE IN TRIMDONS AND FISHBURN

p1dec07_3p1dec07_2Are you passionate about something, is there something missing from your world, or have you ever thought: “I could do that so much better?” Well, maybe you have what it takes to start your own business.
Taking the big step and venturing into self employment is one of the most exciting and exhilarating choices anyone can make. And now the Trimdons and Fishburn have their very own Enterprise Coach based in the heart of the community to give you all of the information, advice and support that you need to get your ideas off the ground.
Emily Edwards, the new Be Enterprising Coach for Trimdons and Fishburn, is based at Trimdon House, Trimdon Village. Emily has joined Be Enterprising from Gateshead Council’s Economic Development service, where she supported over 50 Gateshead residents to set up and grow their businesses.
Emily says “Business Ideas come from the people you know, the stories you hear, the work you do, your interests, opinions and experiences. Some could change your life, improve your community or even make your fortune. We all have good ideas – but the trick is to take action. Be Enterprising is here to support people like you to turn your business ideas into reality.”
Emily specialises in business start-up and can give you hands on support, as and when you need it, to help you to research and develop your ideas, plan for your business, access funding, manage your finances and promote your business, helping it move from strength to strength.
So
whatever stage you are at, if you want to discuss your ideas further or if you need advice on any issues about starting-up your business, contact Emily on 07894 599156 or call into Trimdon House.
