And by the way once you leave you may find there is a lot you will miss about the old place. I grew up in Trimdon in the days when there was a lot of outdoor adventure, the quarries , woods , fields and becks and no vidio games...... we also got drunk, but went home without a fuss.....or you got barred and yer backside kicked. enjoy where you

 Just like to say a big thankyou to everyone who participated in getting me an absolute mess over the weekend for my birthday, it was the best celebration ive had since i got my degree in History.

 Just wondered if anyone out there saw the big game friday night involving trimdon dovecote brought back some great memories playing infront of a capacity crowd all the lads played great we won 3-2 any questions about the game dont hesitate to ask or and keep up the good work the site is really swell

 I havn't heard the "colliery clock " for a while either, mind you it would have to be pretty loud to hear it here. When we were kids we relied on the chimes to tell the time from the fox cover or over the fields, the " grange rec"......glad to know it's back

 Hey all - Am lovin it in australia, good looking at the page keeping up2date with the stuff thats happening in trimdon. Just want to rub it in at the moment its 27c here, whats trimdon -3c lol - Lee
