Comment: Can anybody help me, I need a couple new tyres for my car. I’ve been quoted £80 each and that’s not cheap, so if any 1 can help it might help other people needing them in our lovely community - the size is 205 55 16. Thank you

Comment: I am Johnny Gunns cousin and though I of course knew he was an accomplished vocalist I did not realise he was locally famous with the Rocking D - Jays ! This website is fascinating ( especially the archive photos ! ) and good luck in any reforming of the group and to the good people of Co. Durham !

Comment: The Deaf Hill banner group are pleased to let you know that we have been successful with the lottery grant (£15,800). This along with the money we have made by putting on functions etc, at our welfare hall means we are able to go ahead with our project and have our banner presented with the brass band at the miners gala at Durham Cathedral, We as a village are being recognised again through the help of our volunteers and public support, lets keep it going. I wish to thank everyone involved. George Martin.
