Comment: Back to my roots. my great grandfather was from Trimdon, he was William born in c1882. he married Elizabeth and had Mary, Margaret, Jen or Jane, William and twins Elizabeth and Tom around 1910 - 1914. Any information on these would be greatly appreciated. I visited Deaf Hill in September to lay my nanna Elizabeth to rest with her mam and dad. They lay next to Jen / Jane and her husband Albert Edward Skillet who died in 1950.

Comment: I have spent the past hour reading all of the messages posted on this website and its great reading what everyone is getting up to. It's nice to see that someone is taking the time to finally put Trimdon on the map!! Well done little Jonny Lungut in getting your degree......and it makes me feel really old when Small Paul is talking about spending time in the Royal!! I’m slightly sceptical about Boothy writing from all these distant shores - I bet you are really bored at work telling us all fibs! If you do read this message Boothy, I think you went to college at Durham with my Husband Scott Napier. We have two little jam eaters now and I still come over Trimdon to fully utilise Crazy Granda's babysitting facilities!
