My Dad was born in Seaham and my Grandad was born in Trimdon. I'm currently researching my Dad's side of the family. My Great Grandad was the Colliery Traffic Manager at Trimdon Grange around 1900, and lived at 1 Station Road at the time. Fascinating looking at the pictures in the 'Now & Then' area. Hoping to come visit the area one day.

I was very intrigued to find and then read The Trimdon Times. Quite nostalgic! I was born and brought up in the Grange but moved to Deaf Hill when my dad, Fred, became Under-manager there.
