Comment: How come you only see and hear from politicians when they want something from you like your vote and when they get what they want you never see or hear from them again - funny that isn't it.

Comment: I have just seen & read the Deaf Hill banner route and wondered why the route goes around Trimdon Colliery when the banner is for Deaf Hill, the colliery is a totally different parish.
I can't understand this.

Comment: It was wonderful seeing my late father, Richard (Dick) Kell, on your website under the history of Trimdon Station. He was photographed in front of his fruiters shop which later became the Foundry fishshop. He sold many suppers to the miners and their families.

Comment: Hi everyone how lovely to see the photos of the TMS buses and crew on the website, the book is well worth investing in, on photo number 17 Ralph Calvert was my father. Hello to Mick Wilson, I knew your nana and aunty, even knew your parents: you used to live in the steel houses, didn’t you? I lived in Laburnum Sq too - now the houses have gone. I have a lot of photos not printed in the book on disc of staff at the TMS, be nice to hear from anyone in Trimdon.

Comment: Excellent photo's of TMS, my nana & aunty worked for them. TMS should be still running today because bus services today are crap. Keep up the good work Trimdon Times..
