Bill, I have never encouraged anyone to use recreational herbs, I do however discourage anyone from usin chemicals. I acknowlage the fact that I am an old hippy and live in a provence that is famous for a certain green crop. As for my spiritual leanings , I try to respect all living things. Bye the way I do belive the bible has a reference to using all of the herbs given by god . Just a thought.

In gathering information on my family, I am trying to find out what happened to Arthur Shorthouse, parents Frederick and Mary (Polly) Cook. Arthur born in 1914 was baptised Trimdon Colliery Primitive Methodist Church. Father Fred was killed in France WW1 1916.

Would appreciate hearing from anyone with knowledge of this family.

George, I thought you said you and Ann were Buddists, how do "recreational herbs" fit in with that philosophy? Promotion of drugs in any form is WRONG!
