Come on people we read more comments from overseas than from the Trimdon's. I know there are some whitty , thoughtfull ,inspired folk out there. Immortalise yourselves, let the world know that you exist, a thinking human being.

Great to see Trimdon on the web; both figuratively and literally. Nice to see up-to-date photos for all of us Ex-Pats.
30 years ago I used to hang out with a group of "ne'r do well's" including Billy Robson, Peter Anderson, Lynne Jones, Shirley Parnaby and others at the Folk Club. Used to be held at the Red Lion in the Village and was always a good time.
If any of those mentioned check the site, please contact me - would love to hear from you!

I am currently researching my family tree. Would like any information about Walton family who I've managed to trace as far back as 1821. My great great grandparents used to run the Welsh Harp until 1942 (Ralph and Sarah-Jane). Anyone in Trimdon who remembers them? My great aunt Annie Walton had a shop on Northside Terrace too. Any information or memories welcome. Thanks. Emma e.walton101@durhamlea.org.uk

Ya don't know what youv'e got till it's gone.....if you want to keep on enjoying this site I would suggest you go to the northen echo and nominate the site for a prize. If you are proud that the Trimdon's are finally on the world wide road map, help keep it there.

Anne and I were planning to be in Japan on the 7th of October to take part in a shorinji kempo fighting demonstration, ( an over 50's ), unfortunately Anne war in a car accident and hurt her back, so she couldn't train and we had to cancel the trip and our 2nd dan exam . The shorinji kempo international tai kai will be held in Vancouver this next year so we will send photo's of Anne kicking my rear, unfortunately it hasn't the same prestige as Japan, for a 50 somthing ex Trimdon gal.
