Hi Jim, Speaking for the Robson family the earliest emigrees to Canada were Les and Norma Robson who came over in the late fifties. The rest of us came in the seventies and in the nineties. No connection here.

You may have seen my old posts regarding my attempts to trace relatives of Sgt George Marshall of Trimdon, killed during WWII whilst serving with the RAF.

Just noticed all of these posts from Canada and I was wondering if any of you are related to the Marshall family from Trimdon. Apparently George had a daughter who emigrated to Canada and I was wondering if there was any connection.

Thanks,

Jim

We would just like to add our congratulations to our Dad, Grandpa and Great Grandpa on his achieving his GCSE in art. As Sheila mentioned he was not able to do this when he was younger as he had to go down the pits to do his bit for the family.
We are all so VERY proud of his accomplishment.
