Information Update - 16th April 2009

PACT Priorities for this month;

The Trimdon Village PACT Priorities for April 2009.
   1. Vehicle / Motorcycle Nuisance – Operation Adonis.
   2. Anti social behaviour and street drinking – Elwick View & Hart View.
   3. Parking Complaints - Church Road/Hallgarth Road .

The next Trimdon Village Pact meeting will be on Wednesday the 29th of April 2009 at 6pm at Trimdon Community College .

The Trimdon Grange/Colliery PACT priorities for April 2009.
   1. Vehicle / Motorcycle Nuisance – Operation Adonis.
   2. Criminal Damage & Anti social behaviour – play park area rear of Laurel Crescent .

The next Pact meeting Trimdon Grange & Colliery meeting will be on Monday the 1st of June 2009 at 6pm at Trimdon Grange Community Centre.


Operation Adonis
This operation will run through the summer months and main aim is to target riders of off road bikes. Anyone found riding any type of off road bike can face the possibility of the bike being seized and crushed. Positive Police action will be taken regarding anyone found riding off road bikes in areas without permission, covert patrols and assistance of the force off road motorcycles will also be used.

Trimdon Colliery Play Park. 
On the evening of Thursday the 2nd of April 2009 a substantial amount of damage was caused to the Colliery play park. A large amount of damage was caused to the play equipment by means of a large fire being lit. Anyone with any information in relation to this crime can contact me in person or anonymously.
